It's been a while.

So it has been a good while since I last wrote. Since the last time, I have gotten in a car wreck. That happened on the 8th of December, and it totaled my car, but its easy to fix. So no worries there. Im just driving around a rental that I am liking alot, so it is going to be hard to give up on Thursday.
A few residents died at work, Its the season of people leaving or dying, so our census has gone down a ton. So some of the CNAs have had to go home early all the itme. So that has been fun, NOT!!!! Just the passed couple days, starting on Christmas, we have had 3 deaths in 3 days, and its all been on the floor I mainly work on. So it has been a little hard to get used to not having them there after so long of me working with them. But oh well. It happens, and life goes on. I am getting used to people dying, and not taking it as hard as I did when I first had to death with the death of a resident for the first time. I love my job even though it does have crappy days, and I do have to work holidays, it does pay off because I am helping people who cant help themselves, and I love some of the residents.
So now, me and Brad are down to 39 days until the wedding. Which I think is so crazy!! It's amazing how time flies. I am getting so excited, but also so nervous too. We areent quite ready for the wedding to be here, but we still have 39 days. I go to an interview with my bishop in 2 weeks to get my temple reccomend so I am so excited for that. Im excited to be a part of the Sawyer family. They are all so awesome and I love them all so much. I am so glad I have gotten along with them all from day 1. They are just like my family. I think that is all the updating I need to do right now. So there you go..

#1- Brad is my third boyfriend. How weird is that? I didnt get kissed, or get my first boyfriend until I was 19. I dont know but I just think its strange.

#4- I always wanted to be a teacher up until 8 months ago, when I changed my mind and now want to be a nurse.

#5- I was way boy crazy when I was younger. I would meet a guy, take one look at him, and then talk about him for months. I was weird.

#6- I was born cross-eyed. I had to get a surgery to uncross them, and still sometimes they go crossed.

#7- My brain stem doesnt go all the way up to the top of my head like most people's do, So it takes me longer to think things like math and stuff

#8- I love Twilight. the movie is amazing. So are the books. I am excited to see the next movies

#9- I am getting married in 66 days!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#10- I have weird dreams about my residents at work, I dont know why.

#11- "Forgotten Carols" is my favorite play. I just love the spirit of Christmas that is there

#12- I have bever been anywhere further east then Wyoming, But in February I am honeymooning in Florida

#13- I cant wait to go toEngland in July.

#14- I like to play the piano.

#15- My brother and sister every once in a while tease me about when I was younger, having a crush on my neighbor who was like my moms and dads age. And I also had a crush on the weatherman, Dan Pope

the weekend!

Ok so Thanksgiving I had to work, but it was ok because we were overstaffed so I went home until 5 and worked 5 to 9. So it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had my dad's side of the family over before I went to work, and it was kindof enjoyable seeing them because I only see them 1 or 2 times a year even though they live in the Salt Lake area, we all are just not that close. I went to work, and after being sent home I went to Brads brothers house and had a little Thanksgiving over there. The food was good, what I ate of it because I was so full. I went back to work only to feed my residents and throw them in bed, and then left again. After I went over to Brad's dads house and had some pie over there, and we played the game "Signs" and that was way fun. I went home after that and went to bed. I lvoe Brad's family. I have gotten along with them from day 1 and they are just like my own. The rest of the weekend was just spent woring, and when I wasnt working, I was either home or with brad. On monday, which was yesterday, Brad was sick, and I went over to his house to spend time with him for a bit, and then last night we went to "Forgotten Carols" with Micheal McLean. For those of you who havennt seen it, I think you should. It is the best play. You can hear the meaning behind the words, and its just great. For any religion too. This is my 3rd year of seeing it and it just gets better and better each year. I actually closed my eyes and felt the meaning behind the words and started crying in all the songs. Like I said before, I highly reccomend it to all. That was my short weekend, and I now cant believe that its already getting so close to Christmas. The year has just flown by. AYE AYE AYE

oh the joys of "Twilight"

so on Thursday me and some friends from work got togetther and went to the midnight showing of "Twilight". Well, first we went down to Salt Lake, where we were goig to the movie at the gateway, and had dinner at the sushi place. I dont like sushi, but the other thing I had was good. We then went to the theater, and sat and talked. We were all getting so anxious for the movie it was funny. We ran into some die hard fans, that were dressed in Prom dresses, and had signs saying they would love for Edward to take them to the Prom which I thought was really funny. After what seems like hours, the movie finally started. And when we first see the Cullens as they are walking into the cafeteria, you can tell eveyone knew that this was when they were going to first see Edward, and when he came on screen, everyone just started screaming. We had a lively crowd. I thought the movie was way awesome. Probably better than the book. But seeing the movie makes me want to read it again. But I think i am going to go see "Twilight" a few more times, and am going to buy it when it comes on DVD! Any takers on wanting to go see it with me? I cant wait to see how the second movie turns out. But it will be interesting...

Our new President...

I am finding myself bitter about Obama being the next President of our country!! I was at work watching it and I just stood there watching when I should have been putting my patient to bed, but she was as shocked as I was about it, that she didnt complain on how long it took me to get her ready for bed. But... WHY OBAMA??? What makes him so great that he deserves to be out next president? He isnt patriotic in any way, and he says he is going to take away gun laws and all that crap, raise our taxes. I think its cool that we have a black president but why obama? I think the end of the world is coming. And our country is going to go down the crapper. I think so much is being taken away from us. It makes me mad and sad at the same time. In the D&C it says that in the last days, the constitution is going to hang by a thread, and I am sad to say that I believe we are now in the last days. Which really scares me and I am sure it will scare alot of people because we arent ready for it to be over. Sad sad. Im going to say now:

sick of it

Im so sick of the altzhimers or however you spell it, and getting treated like crap with them. Everything was all fine yesterday and everyone was in the best mood, even the ones that are mostly in bad ones. But When I had to go change one of the residents briefs, or diapers, he starts punching and kicking and everything. It usually takes one CNA to change him, but last night it took 3!!!! I cant wait until my time is up there to where I could say goodbye and go to a hospital. I mean I know that the altzhimers does things to them and they dont know what they are doing or whatever, they forget about it the next day. But we cant really do anything about the behavior other than let the nurse know about it. But when we do that, she really cant do anything about it either because they cant really control it. Its almost 5 months away to where I can leave and to where a hospital will accept me. I thought it was at least 6 months experience that a hospital wants, but looking at the 2 places I want to apply, Mckay Dee, and Primarys, they want a whole year!!!! GRRRR

His dad was out photographer. We got these done at the Layton and Syracuse Parks. He did a pretty dang good job if I say so myself.

So here is a start

So Im finally giving in and creating a blog. Where do I start? Well I will tell you a bit about brad and I. We met back in high school, but never really talked. He went on a mission, and I never wrote him. He came back and we started to talk a little online, but had a girlfriend and boyfriend, so we never thought about dating, He ended up breaking up with his girlfriend in june, and my boyfriend broke up with me in July. He was talking to me online one day and asked how I was doing, and I told him I was dealing with a breakup. So he did a smart thing and asked if a date would help. So 2 weeks later, we went on our first date, and have basically been dating since. We have been together now for over 2 years, and are getting ready to spend our lives together. He popped the question on August 8,2008 and we are getting married February 6, 2009 in the Bountiful Temple. I will post engagements soon.
